Privacy, in plain language.

MTG Scroll is designed to work without an account, advertising, analytics, or a developer-operated server.

Information MTG Scroll does not collect

MTG Scroll does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, account, profile, precise location, contacts, photos, or advertising identifier. It does not include ad, analytics, or tracking SDKs, and it does not track you across apps or websites.

Information stored on your device

Life totals, player names, game settings, and preferences are stored locally on your device so the tracker can remember your current game. MTG Scroll does not upload this information. You can clear the current game in the app; uninstalling the app removes its locally stored data.

Scryfall card lookup

When you use card search, your search text is sent directly from your device to the public Scryfall API over HTTPS. Opening a card can also request its image and rulings from Scryfall. These requests are made only to return the card information you requested; MTG Scroll does not route them through or retain them on a developer-operated server.

Scryfall independently handles requests to its services. You can learn more on the Scryfall API documentation.

Purchases and App Store services

Apple processes the App Store purchase. MTG Scroll does not receive your payment-card or bank-account information. Apple may process App Store and device information under Apple’s own privacy policies.

Changes and questions

If MTG Scroll’s practices materially change, this policy will be updated before the changed behavior is released. For privacy questions, visit the MTG Scroll support page.
